Peas pulao is a popular North Indian rice dish. It is made using a combination of basmati rice, green peas, spices cooked in ghee. These taste amazing with any spicy curries. Learn how to make Peas Pulao Recipe with step by step pictures and video.
Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker. Add in whole spices and let it sizzle.
Add in onion, green chillies and saute till golden. Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min. Add in spice powders and salt. Add in peas, cashews and kishmish and mix well.
Now add in rice, water, coconut milk.
Bring it to a boil. Cover it and simmer for 10 mins. Turn off the heat and Let the steam go all by itself. Fluff the rice and serve.

Notes
Instead of using fresh green peas, you can use frozen green peas as well.
You can skip the chilli powder if you want your pulao to be white.
A small amount of chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves can be used for flavour.
