Take biscuits in a blender and powder coarse. Take it in a bowl. Add melted butter and mix well. Spoon it into the pan and press gently. Place this in fridge for 30 mins.
Now take gelatin in a sauce pan, add water and let it soak for 10 mins. Now heat it gently so it melts.
Now add condensed milk, mango puree, food colour and extract. Mix well.
Pour it into the pan and chill in fridge for few hours. Slice and serve.
Notes
Make sure the digestive biscuits are powdered finely. As it ensures a smooth, buttery layer.
After mixing the butter with crushed biscuits, set them in a pan as the first layer. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 mins to set. Cover it using a cling wrap.
For gelatin mix, first mix gelatin with water. Let it bloom. It will take like 5 to 10 minutes. Then heat it up in a low flame.
Mango puree should be smooth, so after grinding strain them to avoid seeds or small chunks.
Mix the gelatin with mango puree without any lumps.
Let both layers chill in the freezer for 5 hours.
Before cutting, run or dip the knife in hot water for a smooth mango bar.
Storage
Store the no-bake mango bars in an airtight container inside the refrigerator. It tastes best when served chilled. It stays good upto 5 days when refrigerated.Serving : You can serve the mango bars right away after chilling.
