Mango sorbet recipe is a sweet and tangy dessert that’s perfect for hot summer days. It’s thick, creamy and so simple to make. It is prepared using mango puree, sugar and lemon juice. Peel and cube mangoes. Take mangoes in a blender and puree til smooth. Set this aside.
Take sugar, lemon juice and water in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Take it off the heat and add pureed mangoes and Mix well. Spoon this into a container and freeze for 3 to 4 hours.
Now remove the semi frozen sorbet frozen mix in a blender and puree till smooth. Spoon back in the container and freeze. Repeat this 2 more times.
Now freeze this overnight. Remove the container from freezer 10 minutes before serving. Scoop and serve.

Notes
Always use fresh and ripe mangoes. It helps to create rich texture and flavour.
Cool the sugar-lemon juice syrup before adding it to the mango puree.
Make sure to cover the sorbet with a cling wrap on top.
Storage and serving
Store the mango sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer and it stays fresh upto 3 months. Serve the freshly scooped sorbet with ice creams or cut fruits or fresh mint leaves on top.
