Ingredients

For Cookie Dough

  • cup All Purpose Flour 150 grams
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar 50 grams
  • ¼ cup Honey 60 ml
  • ¼ cup Unsalted Soft Butter 50 grams
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cloves
  • ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg

For Icing:

Instructions

  • Take butter, brown sugar, honey in a bowl and whisk well till creamy. Add in baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices and whisk well. Now add in flour and shape it into a dough. Wrap it in cling wrap and chill in fridge for atleast 1 to 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C / 360 degree F.
  • Now roll this between two sheets of plastic wrap and cut using gingerbread shape cutter. Arrange it in a baking pan which is lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 mins. Now remove from oven and cool completely.
  • Now make icing, take icing sugar and milk in a bowl and whisk till thick and creamy. Pour this in a ziploc bag and snip off the edge. Decorate the cookie as you like and decorate with sugar silver balls. Enjoy.
