Equipment

  • Blender
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 2 no Beetroots peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Sugar or to taste
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice or to taste

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and chop beetroots. Take beetroots in a blender and grind into a smooth puree adding some water. Strain this using a fine sieve in a bowl. Add sugar and lemon to taste. Serve cold.

Notes

  • Beetroots has to be tender and small in size for making juice. Young beets has more sweet flavour. 
  • You can use sugar, brown sugar, honey or agave to taste.
  • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice for more fresh and bright taste.
  • You can add a small piece of ginger, mint leaves, pomegranates in your juice.
  • Add one chopped carrots, apples in the juice for making ABC juice.
  • Enjoy beetroot juice cold for best taste. 

Serving & Storage

Like all fresh juice, beetroot juice taste best when made fresh and served cold. You can store any leftover in fridge and use within 1 to 2 days.
