Wash apples well. Peel them, deseed them, chop them.Take them in a microwave safe bowl. Instead of cooking in a microwave, you can cook apples, sugar and water in a sauce pan.
Now add sugar and water in it. Cover with the lid. Put this in microwave and cook on high power for 10 mins. If you are cooking this in a regular pot, cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until apples are tender.
Remove from microwave and mash them little. Transfer this to a blender and make into a smooth puree. Pour this into a dry airtight container and store in fridge.
To make juice, take a glass and add few ice cubes in them. Now add small amount (around ¼ cup )of apple sauce and pour 1 cup of cold water. Mix well. Enjoy cold.

Notes
For a balanced flavor, use a combination of apple varieties.
Cooking apples on low heat keeps more of their nutrients intact and prevents them from becoming bitter.
If you want your juice to be transparent, strain it several times to get a smoother consistency.
Serve cold for a summertime refresher or warm for a wintertime warmer.
Serving & Storage
You can store the apple sauce upto 3 days in fridge. If you need to store for longer time, freeze them in ice cube trays and once frozen collect all the cubes inside a ziploc bag and store in freezer.
