I love everything cinnamon flavoured. It is one of my favorite flavour to add in baked goodies. This bread recipe is a treat for everyone who loves cinnamon flavour. It has a buttery cinnamon swirl all over it which makes it so delicious to enjoy on its own.

Cinnamon swirl bread is such a beauty. It is just delicious as it looks. I have already made a version which has eggs in them and it is one of my old old post. This one is a updated version and it is totally more delicious than that and pretty easy to make as well.
You will get the perfect soft textured bread with a yummy buttery sweet cinnamon spread inside it. It is yummy when served warm with a cup of milk. You can even toast it and spread with some more butter and enjoy it for breakfast.

Cinnamon Swirl Bread Ingredients
All Purpose Flour - this bread is made with refined flour also known as maida. You can use whole wheat flour in the bread but the texture may vary a little. You can use half plain flour and half wheat flour.
Salt - salt makes the bread taste great and enhance the flavour of the bread.
Sugar - you need sugar added in the bread dough and also used in the cinnamon sugar topping.
Milk - milk along with butter makes the bread super moist and tender. You can use milk powder instead of milk.
Dry Yeast - make sure to use fresh yeast which makes the bread puffy and light.
Butter - butter is added in the bread dough and the filling which makes it super buttery in texture.
Ground Cinnamon - the main flavouring in the bread is cinnamon. I like to use ground cinnamon for flavour.

Expert Tips
- You can use whole wheat flour instead of plain flour. Half plain flour and half whole wheat flour can be used.
- Instead of melting the butter, you can spread it with softened butter.
- Instead of white sugar you can use brown sugar.
- Chopped nuts or chocolate chips can be sprinkled over the dough.

Cinnamon Swirl Bread Recipe (Cinnamon Bread)
Equipment
- Loaf Pan

Ingredients
For Bread Dough
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour 360 grams
- 1½ tsp Salt
- ¼ cup Sugar 50 grams
- 1¼ cup Milk 300 ml
- 2 tsp Dry Yeast
- 2 tbsp Butter
For Cinnamon Sugar Swirl
- 4 tbsp Butter melted
- 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- ¾ cup Sugar 150 grams
Instructions
- Take 2 tblspn of butter in a sauce pan, add milk and sugar and heat till sugar is melts. Now take it off the heat and let it come to warm temp. Now sprinkle yeast over it and set aside for 5 mins.
- Now take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well. Add yeast milk mix and knead to a soft dough. Now cover it and set aside for 1 hour till it doubles in size. Punch the air out and knead it well.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Take it in a work surface. Sprinkle flour underneath it if needed. Now spread over the 4 tblspn of melted butter over the dough. Now sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mix and start rolling. Pinch the ends and place it in a greased loaf pan and cover it lightly. Now leave it to rise for another 1 hour.
- During the last 10 mins of rising. Preheat oven to 180 degree C / 350 degree F. Pop this in oven and bake for 35 to 45 mins. Now remove it and cool it completely. Slice and serve.
