Besan Ka Halwa
This is an easy halwa made with gram flour and jaggery. You need a handful of ingredient to make this and it taste really delicious. I made this to add it in my holi recipe list..I hope you will try this out for this holi or any occasion.
Ingredients for Besan Ka Halwa
- Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu - 1 cup
- Jaggery / Sarkarai /Gur - ½ cup grated or use powdered one
- Ghee / Clarified Butter - ½ cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Cashews , Almonds, Kishmish - 4 to 5 tbsp

How to make Besan Ka Halwa
- Heat a nonstick pan, add in gram flour and roast on a medium heat till it darkens in colour and the raw smell leaves completely off. It will take around 8 to 10 mins.
- Now add in jaggery and mix well. Stir fry this for 2 mins or so.
- Now add in ghee and mix well. Cook this for 2 mins or so..
- Now add in milk and mix well so no lumps are formed.
- Now Keep cooking this till it thickens and leaves the sides.
- Now heat a tbsp of ghee and fry all the nuts and dried fruits in it. Now add it into the halwa and mix well.
- Serve warm.
