Thanksgiving cranberry sauce with step by step pictures. Traditionally Cranberry sauce is made with fresh cranberries which is simmered down with sugar and spices. I made it with dried cranberries and it is equally delicious.

Cranberry sauce or cranberry jelly is a sauce or relish made out of cranberries, commonly associated with Thanksgiving dinner in North America and Christmas dinner in the United Kingdom. There are differences in flavour depending on the geography of where the sauce is made: in Europe it is generally slightly sour-tasting, while in North America it is sweetened.

About this Recipe
It is made using fresh cranberries, but i used dried and the result was amazing. I boiled it in cranberry juice and the jelly turned out yum. You can have it with toasted bread, bread rolls, biscuits, roast turkey or chicken.

How to Make Cranberry Sauce at Home
- Take cranberry and juice in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Simmer this for 15 mins till it is reduced.
- Now add in sugar and cook for a further 5 mins.
- Now turn off the heat and set aside to cool.
- Once cooled, take it in a clean jar and store in fridge.

Cranberry Sauce Recipe | Cranberry Sauce made with Dried Cranberries
Ingredients
- Dried Cranberry - 2 cups
- Cranberry Juice - 2 cups
- Sugar - ½ cup
Instructions
- Take cranberry and juice in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Simmer this for 15 mins till it is reduced.
