Okay are you stuffed with all those diwali sweets and snacks. I am sure you will be feeling heavy throughout the day. For some people it will lead to stomach ache, gastric issues and acidity. So here i am sharing a simple diwali medicine or diwali legiyam. Make this and have this a small ball size everyday throughout the diwali season, it will improve your digestion.

Ingredients for Diwali Legiyam
- Jaggery - ½ cup
- Dry Ginger - 4 cm piece
- Kandathippili - Long Pepper - 10
- Black Pepper - 2 tbsp
- Coriander Seeds - 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tbsp
- Omam / Ajwain / Carom Seeds - 1 tsp
- Cardamom Pods - 1
- Gingerly Oil - 2 tbsp
- Water ½ cup
How to Make Diwali Legiyam
- Take all the ingredients except oil and jaggery and water in a pan and roast them lightly, then take them in a blender and powder them.
- Now take jaggery and water in a pan and melt it down, strain it.
- Now add this back into the pot and add in the powder. Mix well. Cook this till it gets thick and legiyam like.
- Add in gingerly oil and mix well.
- Cool this and store in a air tight container.
- You can have this a small ball size everyday throughout the diwali season, it will improve your digestion.

Ingredients
- ½ cup Jaggery
