    Onion Tomato Raita Recipe with step by step picture. This is made with Onion, Tomato and Curd. Perfect Side dish with Pulao, roti, biryani.

    Onion & Tomato Raita

     

    Raita makes a perfect side dish for any spicy veg biryani or non veg biryani.. I have quite a few raita recipes, starting from cucumber raita, spinach raita, beetroot raita, radish raita..I even have an onion raita but i wanted to share it will new pictures. Hence this new post..

    Ingredients for Onion & Tomato Raita

    • Homemade Curd / Yogurt - 2 cup
    • Onion - 1 large peeled and chopped finely
    • Tomato - 1 small chopped
    • Green chillies - 1 chopped finely
    • Coriander leaves - 3 tablespoon chopped finely
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 1 tsp
    • Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp

    How to make Onion & Tomato Raita

    1. Take onions in a bowl, add in salt, sugar and lemon juice in it and mix well using your hands. Massage it for 2 mins.
    2. Leave the onions to rest for 5 mins.
    3. Add in green chillies. tomatoes and coriander leaves and mix well.
    4. Add in curd and mix well.
    5. Serve with biryani..

    Onion & Tomato Raita Recipe step by step pictures

     
    Take all your ingredients
    Take thick homemade curd in a bowl
    finely chopped onions in a bowl
    add in some salt and sugar
    add in some lemon juice
    mix well using your hands, this will make the onions soft 
    Let it rest for 5 mins
    Add in tomatoes, green chillies and coriander leaves
    add in curd
    mix well
    serve
